Very little remains of the original part of this small church that was first constructed in the 14th Century. Some of the choir area of the building is original, but the vast majority of the structure was added to in the 17th Century after a major fire ripped through the building causing untold damage. The church has fiercely retained its independence as a parish outside of the city’s control, despite being swallowed up into the heart of it.
