A fine museum of modern art, this grand building is situated close to the centre of the city and offers a good range of modern works, focussed primarily on French and European painters, but with some pieces from elsewhere around the world. The collection is open to the public throughout the year and from time to time the venue opens its doors to visiting collections that are on tour, keeping a fresh and innovative feel to the museum.
