Petite Fontaine

Today this fountain is one of the more interesting ornamental fountains in the city of Belfort, but historically it was of great significance. The exact age of the structure is not known, but it is thought that it was built at sometime around 1600 and connected to the main fountain in the town, between them being the only two suppliers of clean drinking water to the people of the community.
