This historic building isn’t the first school of its type to be built in the centre of Belfort, and in fact at least one of the predecessors of the building date back well into the 15th Century. The majority of this structure is from the 17th and 18th Century and is open t the public to browse around and look carefully at the fine stonework. In the centre of the building is the original bell which is thought to have been dated at 1604.
