This interesting building was modelled directly on Baltard Pavilion in Paris and is a great piece of late 19th Century architecture. The market building stands on the site of an ancient church that was destroyed many centuries ago. The structure underwent an overhaul in the late 20th Century and is today as popular as it always has been, filled with delicious local specialities for sale from food and drink to wine and honey there is something for everyone on sale in this bustling rustic environment.
