Many people associated bullfighting exclusively with Spain, but it has been a central part of the way of life of the people of south-west France for many hundreds of years, and has been one of the factors that have shaped Béziers to be the way it is today. This interesting, if not a little controversial, exhibition tells the story of bullfighting and illustrates throughout the ages the way the sort has developed. Packed with photographs, documents, paintings and artefacts related to the sport it is a popular attraction in the city, particularly with local people.
