Eugene Lux was the main architect charged with the task of building a fully covered market building for the busy and thriving city of Belfort at the turn of the 20th Century. This amazing construct of glass and steel has served the people of the community for over a hundred years and in the mid 1980s was recognised as a protected historic monument by the government.
