The first church to be constructed on this site was built around the 12th Century, but none of that church remains and the earliest parts of the current church are thought to mainly come from the 15th Century. Close to the Louvre Museum, the church provides an imposing Gothic façade at the very heart of the city, beautifully crafted both inside and out, steeped in history and intrigue.
