Situated on the edge of the old town in the heart of Nice, this is one of the most beautiful and popular squares in the city. Designed by the well known architect Antoinne Spinelli, the square was intended to be a forum for public life, attracting locals and visitors to mingle together. At the heart of the square is the Hero of the Two Worlds by Joseph Garibaldi, after whom the square is named. It is the perfect place to grab a drink in the city centre.
