This delightful chapel was constructed over quite a long period between 1740 and 1781, and remains one of the finest examples of baroque design in the city of Nice. The chapel is a working religious place of worship, but is also open to tourists who are invited to marvel at the exterior and interior decoration. The facility is the home to the order of Black Penitents and houses a fine collection of priceless art works including some marvelous 17th Century canvasses.
