Set in the wonderful Albert 1st Gardens, close to the popular seafront areas of Nice, this is one of the most popular and well regarded pieces of contemporary art on public display in Nice. Designed by the well known artist Bernard Venet, the huge ark of steel stretches high into the sky and casts a shadow over much of the surrounding area. At first he piece was received with mixed emotions by locals but soon won the hearts of the locals and visiting tourists.
