Interestingly, this palace was built for an Italian family who hailed from a small village on the other side of the border, in the 17th Century. The building has all the hallmarks of a northern Italian residence, striking in its beauty, surrounded by traditionally French buildings in the heart of Nice. The public are invited to browse within the palace at the amazing collection of furniture from the 12th Century, tapestries and paintings.
