It was the poet Leon Deubel’s uncle who had this house built and it is after him that it is known. One of the most magnificent and well constructed villas in the city, the building has been through a great many uses over the years including a music school and an urban development agency. In recent years the building has been reopened to the public and offers exhibitions of art amongst the fine surroundings of splendour and historic interest.
