This art museum is one of the finest in this area of northern France. Situated at the heart of the port town of Calais, it is housed in a beautiful old building that exhibits some of the traditional architectural traits of the area. Within the gallery is a good collection of art from across the area. It dates from the 16th Century and includes paintings by some of the best renowned artists from France, Italy and Holland as well as a good selection of pieces from the local area.
