Ossip Zadkine worked in Paris in the 20th Century and became renowned as one of the most talented and celebrated sculptures in the world. Although for many years he was not well received and he found trouble really finding his inspiration in London and Paris, he eventually fell in love with making sculptures that were inspired by the Roman and Greek worlds. This museum contains a large amount of his work and is based in his former studios.
