Saint Genevieve found her final resting place at this immaculate church, one of the most perfectly preserved, historically significant and most famous in France. The construction of the church began in 1492 and took several decades to be completed. The architectural style of the building is extremely grand, with high windows lighting the domed ceiling in such a way that it almost appears it reaches up to the heavens. There are many magnificent carvings and stained glass windows on display within.
