Situated close to the main entrance to this beautiful Gothic cathedral is the entrance to the towers of the cathedral. Charged as a separate attraction, the admission fee is well worth it as you get to scale the fours huge towers that rise from the base of the cathedral. You start by climbing the three hundred and thirty seven steps to the top of the north tower and then walk around the west façade, where you will be treated to a great view of the famous gargoyles of the church. The south side offers the best views of Paris.
