The Mediterranean Palace was built in 1929 by one of the best known architects in the field, Charles Dalmas. This, now listed building, is not complete as much of it was knocked down, however the front entrance is considered by many art lovers and architects to be one of the finest art-deco facades that exist in the whole of France. It is a striking and un-missable fixture on Nice seafront, and attracts a great deal of interest from visitors and locals alike.
