This large collection is housed in affine municipal style building on the fringes of the Botanical Gardens in the heart of Paris. The museum is dedicated to the study of palaeontology and is therefore filled with fossils of animal and plant life that have been collected from around the globe. The collection is also concerned with the anatomy of man and animal, how we are put together and what it is that makes our bodies work.
