Situated on the banks of the River Seine, this beautiful series of botanic gardens is one of the greatest collections of rare and wild plant life in the city. There are plants in the collection that have been brought from the four corners of the globe, and are well arranged by a dedicated team of gardeners and botanists. Within the gardens are several large greenhouses and hothouses that contain tropical specimens. There are interesting guides available that talk you through the plants on show.
