The Nice Opera is one of the central cultural fixtures in the city. It puts on seven operas a year and fifteen concertos. The building is one of the most spectacular in the city, and it is worth attending a performance just to catch a glimpse of the opulent interior, even if you aren’t an opera fan. In order to obtain tickets for the opera it is advised to book in advance via the website, and for concertos often tickets are available at the venue.
