A grand and beautiful church in the heart of Paris, strangely this building was nearly selected as the first railway station in Paris, but luckily survived this fate and remains a strong religious symbol. The original building was started in 1762, but after several redesigns and complete stoppages to the building process it wasn’t until 1842 that the church was finally consecrated and became the place of worship that we see today.
