In 2007 this museum reopened its doors after undergoing an extensive and far reaching refurbishment that saw a great many of the exhibits rearranged and new items added. The basic theme of the museum, which is housed in a marvellous old building, is the art of hunting through the ages. There is less machismo than one might expect, and instead a pleasant environment that is more concerned with real history than the act of killing or the morality of the actions.
