Dedicated to the furniture and arts from the 18th century, this museum is one of the best loved in the local area. The founders of the Samaritaine department store, Ernest Cognacq and Louise Jay were the people that brought together this original collection which has been added to throughout the decades. The museum is open to the public throughout the year and is popular in school holidays.
