More commonly known by its slightly shortened title of the American Cathedral in Paris, this building should not be confused with the smaller and less significant American Church in Paris. The cathedral has a long and interesting history in the city that dates back to 1886, a great time in Franco-American relations, because as this amazing structure was being completed, so too was the Statue of Liberty in New York City.
