Housed in one of the finest examples of a Second Empire in building in Amiens, this museum is one of the oldest and favourites in the city. It is home to a large collection of art treasures dating from the last thousand years or so. There is a large exhibition of archaeological pieces that have been excavated nearby and across the globe. There are also many examples of fine paintings, well represented by most of the top names in the European art schools.
