Jules Verne is one of the most famous literary figures in the world, and certainly one of the quite justified celebrated sons of the nation. His works spread over many decades, and during his two most productive, he lived in this wonderful house at the heart of Amiens. He was inspired by the house and the area, and today the building is open to the public so that they can see the place that all of the magic happened in the 19th Century literary scene.
