Lake Annecy is a beautiful body of water that has many small towns and villages dotted around it. There are several pedal boat hire companies operating from the central quay in the town of Annecy. It is a perfect way to explore the lake and see the town from a slightly different perspective as you peddle your way across the beautiful area. In general the pedal boats are only available for hire during the high season in the middle of summer.
