This area of town, is the oldest and by far the most attractive to take a stroll around. Located on either side of the Canal du Thiou, the Vieille Ville is made up by a selection of narrow winding streets. The best part of the area was built in the 17th Century and therefore on a quiet day you can lose yourself in history, wandering past the beautiful facades, imagining how people used to live in Annecy, many hundreds of years ago.
