This old warship is one of the most interesting attractions on the banks of the Garronne in Bordeaux. The ship is one of the largest ever to have sailed in the French navy and has finally been decommissioned and put into service of another sort, to be viewed by the public. Now, the ship has effectively become a living museum to the Navy, and one can experience what it must be like to sail on such a grand war ship by walking around the vessel.
