The museum of natural history is a large public facility in central Bordeaux. It features a massive collection of artefacts relating to the subject of the natural world. There are collections of skeletons, and animal related materials, from across the globe. The museum is open throughout the year, and is very busy throughout the summer months and during school holidays, when parents and children visit in their droves.
