Housed in a delightful and unique mansion house, this museum is dedicated to the old town of Marseille. Unlike the Museum of Marseille History, this gallery and exhibition focuses entirely on the old town area. It was established in the 19th Century by a group of writers and poets who though it an idea to collect interesting pieces of information together about the place that inspired them. Within the museum are exhibits of art, furniture, writing and antiques.
