This interesting gallery and museum is housed in the old Gare l’Est at the heart of Marseille. The collection as you might expect from the name is focussed on the history of Transport in Marseille, particularly public transport. Through visual representations, photographs and models the exhibition, which has been designed to enthuse both young and old, tells the story of the city from the earliest days of horse drawn carriages to the modern metro systems of today.
