Recognisable by its giant red glowing letters above the establishment, the Olympia is the oldest music hall in the whole of Paris, founded in 1888 by Joseph Oller, the creator of the Moulin Rouge. The theatre has hosted some of the most famous musicians in the world throughout the years including performances by the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Jeff Buckley, Nina Simone and Pavarotti to name but a few. It continues to be one of the most well loved musical venues in the country.
