This museum is one that strikes a chord with many of the older residents of Paris who lived through the Second World War. It is dedicated to one of their most famous Presidents, General Charles de Gaulle, and the work that he did to try and liberate the French during the war. The museum focuses on the great sacrifices that were made by the resistance members as they worked secretly against the Nazi occupiers in the 1940s.
