There are few better ways to spend an afternoon than messing about in boats. If you are going to take this adage on, then the area in the Bois de Boulogne is probably one of the best places in Paris to enjoy a row. Surrounded by beautiful tees and gardens, boats are for hire throughout the summer months and this has historically and still today proved to be one of the more popular outdoor activities in this area of the city.
