The Bois de Boulogne is a vast park in the city of Paris, created by Napoleon III, as a place for the people of the area to gather, relax and enjoy themselves in pastoral splendour. The enormous park is filled with things to see and do, including several lakes on which it is possible to go boating. There are many rare collections of plant life and wildlife as well as well wooded avenues that Parisians love to stroll through on a sunny afternoon.
