This museum of art was opened in 1986 and is housed in the impressive 19th Century Saint-Pierre Hall. The collection was put together by Max Fourny, a respected art critic and collector in the city. It displays a fine array of works, many typical of the 1970s naïve art scene that was extremely popular in France, and across the world. The gallery likes to challenge the traditional barriers of art and regularly exhibits collections that are indicative of modern art movements.
