This beautiful church is often referred to as the reform church in Marseille, because it stands on the former site of the Augustine Reform Monks land. The building is a great example of Gothic revival in southern France, built between 1855 and 1888 by the renowned architect F. Reybaud. The interior decoration was never fully completed, and the church still to this day is constantly subject of various renovation projects.
