The Chocolate Theatre is not like most of the theatres in the entertainment district of central Marseille which snakes away from the old port area. This theatre for a start is also a restaurant where you can dine whilst you watch performances, a relatively unique selling point in the city. The focus of the performance is generally on comic pieces and the establishment has been recognised as helping launch the career of many of the funniest people in France.
