This collection of Buddhist artworks that have been collected from China and Japan are housed in this beautiful annexe, which is associated with the Guimet Museum. The collection is made up of a large amount of paintings on a Buddhist theme that the founder of the museum Emile Guimet brought back from his extensive travels to the east. It represents one of the finest collections of Asian religious art outside of the countries the work is from.
