Africa Remix is one of the most interesting permanent collections on display in the vast George Pompidou arts centre at the heart of Paris. The French have always had a close connection with Africa because of the colonial times. For better or for worse, the continent is important to France and vice versa, therefore it is quite appropriate that this large collection of African art and sculpture is on display at the very heart of the French capital.
