The Marseille School of Fine Arts is one of the best regarded in the region and produces an amazing crop of students every year, many of whom go on to pursue careers as well known artists in various fields. There is somewhat of a bias towards contemporary art at this gallery, but there are many types of artwork on display from photography and sculpture to installation and mixed media pieces. The works are usually those of final year students and entrance to the gallery is always free.
