Le Palais du Pharo is a a huge historic park, one of the largest in Marseille. Extremely popular with locals and tourists, the large green area provides a place of rest and relaxation from the busy streets of the city. Once the site of a magnificent palace, today the park is used primarily as a recreation ground. There are also cultured gardens and flower beds, making this an extremely attractive place to spend time in the city.
