The beautiful Palace of Chaillot is built from two distinctive curved wings that reflect into the river and form an iconic sight at the centre of the Jardins du Trocadero. The palace was built for the World Exhibition of 1937, when the Parisians hosted a fine exhibition of innovation and design from across the globe. From the terraces in front of the palace, visitors are treated to some of the best panoramic views of the surrounding gardens, the River Seine and the Eiffel Tower upriver.
