Built in the 18th Century, this cathedral which stands at the heart of Montauburn is without doubt one of the most impressive and imposing structures in the town. Towering above the surrounding streets the architectural style is classical, emitting clean line of symmetry in every direction. Within the cathedral is a masterpiece by local artist Ingres called ‘Le Voeu de Louis XIII’ which depicts the great king pledging all the support France has to the Virgin.
