Strangely, there are two museums on a very similar theme within a few hundred yards of each other. This establishment, instead of being a museum of just the postal service in France, is quite specifically dedicated to the postal system of Paris. Of course, being such a large city, the logistics of moving post quickly around the conurbation has been something that has had to be refinanced again and a gain to get to the point that we see today.
