Musée du Quai Branly, sometimes referred to in English as the Quai Branly Museum, is one of the newer museums in Paris, situated close to the Eiffel Tower, in the heart of the city. The facility is focused on displaying art and artefacts that have been created by, and found in, the places where indigenous people live, and have lived. Mostly the pieces come from Africa, Oceania and South America as well as some from North America and Asia. It contains over 300,000 pieces and has ten special exhibitions per year.
