Situated a short walk from the banks of the River Seine, this museum is dedicated to costumes, puppets and masks from Asian theatres. Offering a completely different take on the way that we perceive theatre, the Asian tradition is far more entrenched in the imagery that can be created by man made objects and presence over mere acting. This collection is large and extremely beautiful, a rare chance to see such items in the western world.
