This theatre is situated close to a major university and therefore is well patronised by the large student population of the area. It too means that many of the up and coming performers who come through the ranks at the university drama society and such end up treading the boars on this stage. There are a range of productions throughout the year, often concentrating on issues that matter to the modern world and the people of the city.
